We’ve put together a quick post to let you know what we’ve been up to here at C&C Towers over the summer months. We’ve had an intense period of work which is culminating in the release of three new client projects later this month.
Web Challenge Design with P2PU Mozilla School of Webcraft. - Jamie’s been working with the School of Webcraft team over at P2PU over the last month as a Web Challenge Designer helping them create engaging learning experiences for aspiring web developers.
Sport Study Website. - Following on from the excellent feedback we have received from our work with TASS. We we’re asked to design and develop a search based website platform for talented young athletes aged between 16 – 19 years of age, looking to take the next important step in their careers.
EAS The Dual Career Network Website. - The website operates as a forum and central hub enabling members to easily share best sporting and educational practice between the 32 educational institutions involved throughout Europe. Read more – ‘Whats been going on…’.
Gateshead Futures A collection of short films interpreting what life will be like in Gateshead in 2100. Produced and directed by pupils from Heworth Grange, Lord Lawson, Thomas More & Whickham School the project is an Aim Higher collaboration between Gateshead and Northumbria University’s Motion Graphics & Animation Course. We are currently working with the SportAid funded Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme on their core website. Their old site was outdated and lacked the functionality TASS required to move forward.
Discovering TASS had a significant amount of brand dilution across their online and offline material. We initially developed a consistent digital publishing environment to underpin the new website project.
We then redesigned and developed their new website on-top of this stable base, which enabled us to import all of the existing legacy content from their old website - which contained news articles going back as far as July 2005. Read more – ‘TASS – Website.’.
Sunderland LINk (the Local Involvement Network) is a new way for people who use local health and social care services to talk directly to the NHS and the council about what they want and to get their questions answered about current issues. The Drum Shop have been in business for 20 years, they know about drums and how to sell them. Thats where we came in - how to transfer that 20 years of knowledge into a new website that would continue to take the Drum Shop forward. They had an existing site that served them well for a number of years but just wasn't inline with their latest approach and marketing ideas, and with the renovation of much larger shop premises also taking place - it was an ideal time to take a look at a new web site. Award winning Sunderland eatery Paprika Cafe commissioned C&C to come up with a website that mirrored the quality of their food and comfortable surroundings of their existing premises.
